Rs. 25,66,380 Cash Seized As Part Of Election Code Of Conduct: Ronald Rose

Hyderabad, March 31:(Maxim News): During the last 24 hours in Hyderabad district as part of the implementation of the code of conduct for the ensuing Parliament elections, various enforcement departments such as the flying squad, SST teams, Police, and GHMC department checks and have seized Rs. 25,06,380 cash and other items from Saturday morning to Sunday morning.

In this context, in the last 24 hours, Rs.2,46,500 cash was seized by the Flying Squad, Rs.7,20,000 cash by SST, Rs.15,99,880 cash was seized by the Police Department and the value of Rs.56,39,223 other items  This was informed by the District Electoral Officer Ronald Rose 

He said that 18 complaints were received and 7 FIR cases were registered in the last 24 hours.

As part of the implementation of law and order, 74 people with arms licenses have been deposed. With this, a total of 2138 licensed weapons were deposited.

According to District Election Officer GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose, 17,112 liters of illegal liquor were seized a case was registered against 4 persons, and three were arrested.

District Election Officer, Commissioner GHMC said that till now 1545 wall writing, 5838 posters, 6937 banners, and 5645 others related to 19,997 private properties have been removed as part of the implementation of MCC, similarly, 169 wall writing 1365 posters 3464 banners 2058 related to other properties have been removed in total 7056.  (Maxim News)
