The passengers, identified as Surya Prakash and Mohammed Jangir, had arrived from Abu Dhabi. Officials said they appeared nervous during screening, prompting a closer look at their luggage. What followed left the security team stunned — the bags were packed with iPhones, smartwatches, and drones, all neatly stacked and undeclared.

The CISF immediately detained the duo and handed them over to airport police for questioning. Investigators are now trying to find out why the men were carrying such a huge quantity of gadgets and where they were headed.

Sources say the case has raised suspicions of a possible smuggling racket, given the high value and nature of the seized goods.

Security checks at the Shamshabad airport have since been tightened, with authorities keeping a close watch on incoming international passengers to prevent similar incidents. (Maxim News)
