Rs 40-cr Allocated For Bugga Vagu Project

Hyderabad, Jan.11 (Maxim News): Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar today said that Rs 40 crore was allocated for local Bugga Vagu to push farming activities.

As part of second phase of Palle Pragati, he planted saplings at villages in Raghunathapalem mandal. On the occasion, Dr Ajay Kumar stated that tenders were being finalized for the local irrigation project that will fill lakes and water bodies on both sides of the roads. Before getting Sitharama project, this will get waters for farming.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been keen on developing the rural areas through the unique program, he said. Palle Pragati program will help find problems in the villages to fix them on the spot. He asked the officials to coordinate to provide facilities in the villages through the program, he said.
