Rs. One Crore Fine If Any Question Paper Is Leaked

Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 5 (Maxim  News): Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitender Singh introduced the Bill in the Lok Sabha. Officials involved in the leakage of question paper and gangs involved in the leakage will be dealt with in this bill. After the bill becomes law, those convicted under it will face a maximum jail term of 10 years and a fine of Rs. 1 crore.

The Bill was brought by the Center due to the leaks of Public Service Commission examination papers in Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat, and Bihar. President Draupadi Murmu also mentioned in her recent speech addressing the two houses that this bill will be brought.  (Maxim News)
