Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy told the film industry leaders that there will be no more benefit shows in Telangana state. He said that he was committed to what he said in the assembly. The CM expressed his concern over the Sandhya Theatre incident. He said that the government took the incident seriously only because a woman lost her life.

He made it clear to the film industry leaders that there would be no compromise on law and order. He said that they will be serious about bouncers from now on. He said that it is the responsibility of celebrities to control the fans. He assured the film industry that the Congress government would support it. The CM advised them that the film industry should be socially responsible, and take initiative in campaigns like drug campaigns and women’s safety. He made it clear that temple tourism and ecotourism should be promoted. Revanth Reddy said that the industry should also cooperate in terms of investments. The CM assured that the government will fully support Tollywood.

The meeting of Tollywood film celebrities with CM Revanth Reddy in which Tollywood film celebrities Heroes Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Nithin, Kiran Abbavaram, Sidhu Jonnalagadda, Directors Raghavendra Rao, Trivikram, Koratala Siva, Vamsi Paidipally, Anil Ravipudi, Boapati Seenu, Veerashankar, Harish Shankar, Prashanth Varma, sai Rajesh, Vashishta, Producers Dil Raju, Allu Arvind, Suresh Babu, Sudhakar Reddy, C.Kalyan, Gopi Achanta, Shyam Prasad Reddy, BVS Prasad, K>L Narayana, Mythri Ravi, Naveen,  A total of 36 members met with Revanth and discussed various issues such as movie ticket rates, benefit shows and the Sandhya Theater incident.

After the meeting film personalities spoke to the media.  On this occasion, director Raghavendra Rao said, “All CMs have taken good care of the film industry. The current Congress government is also taking good care of us. I welcome the appointment of Dil Raju as the  FDC Chairman. There are wonderful tourist spots in Telangana. Joint AP CM Chandrababu organized the Children’s Film Festival in Hyderabad. Now we want an International Film Festival to be organized in Hyderabad, he said.

The film industry will grow to a global level only if the government provides capital incentives. Our desire is for Hyderabad to become the world cinema capital. There should be a studio set up at the universal level said Hero Nagarjuna.

The Sandhya Theater incident has hurt us.  Promotion has become crucial due to the competition in the film release.  Since the film is being released all over the world, we are doing extensive promotion said Actor Murali Mohan. 

We have faith in the Telangana government.  Our dream is to make Hyderabad an International film destination.  It was with the help of the government that the industry came to Hyderabad from Chennai in those days.  Hyderabad should be a hub for all agencies including Netflix and Amazon“= Producer Daggubati Suresh Babu said.
