Sankranti 2025: Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Train Coaches Increased

Hyderabad, Jan 12 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that there is a festive mood in the Telugu states. People from Hyderabad are moving to Andhra Pradesh for the Sankranti festival. The trains are getting crowded.

The Southern Indian Railways has announced that it is increasing the number of Vande Bharat Train coaches.  The decision has been taken to increase the number of coaches from the current 8 to 16.  With this, the number of seats will increase from 530 to 1,128.  It has been clarified that this decision will come into effect from the 13th of this month. 

Vande Bharat (20707/20708)  Express train was launched by Prime Minister Modi in March 2024. Currently, it has 1 executive coach and 7 chair car coaches. Now with the latest decision. It will increase to 2 executive coaches and 14 chair car coaches.  (Maxim News)
