Saree Handwoven With Gold And Silver: Another Record In The Name Of Siricilla Netanna
Sirsilla/Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News): Handloom artist Nalla Vijay from Rajanna Sirisilla district Center has shown his talent by weaving a silk saree with twenty grams of gold and twenty grams of silver.
This saree made by him is 48 inches wide, five and a half meters long, and weighs 500 grams. Its cost is Rs. 1.80 lakhs. Gold and silver were woven like thin strings. He claimed that it took a month to make it. A businessman from Hyderabad said that he had it made for his daughter’s wedding. (Maxim News)
