SBI contribute to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund
Hyderabad, Dec 31 (Maxim News): Hardayal Prasad, Chief General Manager, State Bank of India, Hyderabad Circle, handed over Cheques to Governor ESL Narasimhan for Rs.4.25 lakh and Rs.8.50 lakh to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States respectively, towards the contributions to “Armed Forces Flag Day Fund” here on Saturday.
This fund will be utilized for Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of War Veterans, War Widows and Disabled Soldiers. The said amounts have been contributed by all Staff Members of State Bank of India in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.
On the occasion, Hardayal Prasad, appraised the Governor, about various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities undertaken by the SBI in both the states towards Sanitation, Health, Education and adoption of digital Villages.
