SCCL Elections In Telangana Postponed

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (Maxim News): Singareni Collieries Company Ltd., (SCCL) Telangana elections scheduled to be held on October 28 have been postponed. The High Court has accepted Singareni’s employees‘ request to postpone their elections in the wake of the Assembly elections. It has been ordered that the elections be held on December 27.

Singareni made it clear that the final election list should be submitted to the Labour Department by November 30. Also, the High Court ordered the State government to cooperate in the Singareni elections. It has issued instructions to the State government to give an assurance letter by tomorrow that they will cooperate in the elections. (Maxim News)
