SCDS Student Design Expo 2022 exhibited at MANUU

Hyderabad, Oct 28: Collaboration between Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) and Samana College of Design Studies (SCDS) kicked-off with SCDS offering a Certificate and a Diploma courses in Fashion and Interior Design from October 5, 2022 at MANUU. The College organized an Expo on October 27 & 28, 2022 at University Campus.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Arshia Khan inaugurated the expo on October 27, 2022.

The students of SCDS batch 2020-2022 created and exhibited the Student Design Expo which was validated and approved by NABA MILAN, ITALY. During the Expo designers were awarded Medals for their creations. The best designer medal was given to Akanksha for her outstanding bridal collection, with 10 garments designed in 10 days. Medals were awarded to runner ups and certificates to all designers for their outstanding collection and display.

Prof. Shugufta Shaheen, OSD-1, MANUU, Smt. Samana Moosavi, Chairperson, SCDS and Md. Altaf Hussain, Director, SCDS, Prof. Shahid Naukhez Azmi, Head, Dept. of Persian, Dr. Ahmad Khan, Director, CUCS, Mrs. Sheeba Abbas C.E.O SCDS, Mrs. Hayaa Fathima were present on the occasion.
