Scrap 4% Of Reservation For Minorities: Kishan

BJP floor leader in the State Assembly G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday said the State government should first scrap the 4 per cent reservation for minorities and give it to Schedule Tribes instead.

Speaking to mediapersons at the party office here, he said though the Supreme Court and High Court had quashed reservations based on religion, the State government was not only going ahead with reservation based on religion but was also trying to increase it.
