Seasonal Ailments Recorded Significant Surge This Year In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 25 (Maxim News): With seasonal ailments recording a significant surge this year, the general public in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana state, must exercise caution and take necessary precautions.

Almost all the major seasonal ailments including dengue, chikungunya, malaria dengue, chikungunya, malaria, and viral fevers have surged this year.

Compared to last year, according to the latest statistics that were released by the Director of Public Health (DPH)  Dr. B. Ravinder Naik.

All the 42 diagnostic laboratories across Telangana are working overtime to conduct diagnostic tests of samples collected from patients. The local PHCs, UPHCs, and Basthi Dawakhanas will be able to provide the required primary care services to patients who walk in. People in general, however, from their side must continue to take precautions, Dr. Naik said.

Senior health officials in Telangana have urged people to be cautious of emerging infections like mpox, which was recently declared a public health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organisation (WHO) (Maxim News)
