Regular services will start from Secunderabad on October 9 and from Vasco-da-Gama on October 10.  Secunderabad-Vasco Da Gama (17039) train departs every Wednesday and Friday.  Vascodagama-Secunderabad (17040) departs every Thursday and Saturday.  Currently there is a regular service (17603) between Secunderabad-Vasco Da Gama.  It runs on Tuesday, Wednesday.

Due to heavy demand from  passengers the trains which run Friday and Sunday are always jammed.  There is another train (17021) from Hyderabad to Vascodagama.  But it runs only one day a week.  It is very difficult to find tickets on this train too.  In this contest, the new train will increase the travel opportunities of tourists.  Additional seats will be available.  (Maxim News)
