Security Alert To BJP MLA Raja Singh By Hyderabad Police

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police have issued a security warning to BJP MLA Raja Singh, urging him to take extra precautions due to frequent threats to his life. They have advised him to use a bulletproof vehicle and ensure that the government-assigned security personnel are always present.

According to an official notice, police are concerned that Singh is not following security measures and often moves around publicly without protection.

The Inspector of Mangalhat Police Station sent the alert on Wednesday.

“You have been receiving frequent threatening calls, and it has been noticed that you often leave your home and office without security. This puts your safety at risk. We advise you to use a bulletproof vehicle and be accompanied by the (1+4) security personnel assigned to you to prevent any danger,” the letter stated.

The police also asked Singh to acknowledge the notice and cooperate with them in maintaining law and order.

Raja Singh Questions Police Advisory

In response, Raja Singh questioned how practical the advisory was, saying that his constituency, Goshamahal, has many narrow lanes and slums where a bulletproof vehicle would cause inconvenience.

“I received a letter from the police saying I have a security threat and should stop using my bike in my constituency. Instead, they want me to use a bulletproof car with gunmen. But Goshamahal is full of narrow streets where such a vehicle would create problems. My priority is to stay connected with the people, and that’s why I prefer using a bike,” Singh said.

He also criticized what he called the “double standards of the system,” pointing out that his request for a gun license was rejected due to pending cases against him.

“Ironically, many others with cases against them have been granted gun licenses without any issue,” he added.

This latest security warning has once again raised questions about the safety of political leaders and the effectiveness of security measures in sensitive areas.
