Hyderabad, Jan 17 (Maxim News): Keeping in view the last rites of Mukarram Jah Bahadur, the grandson of the last Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Usman Ali Khan. According to his last wish, the family members will perform the last rites in Hyderabad, his body will reach Hyderabad today evening in a chartered flight. After reaching the city, his body will be taken to Chowmahalla Palace.
As there is a possibility that a large number of people along with relatives and friends will come to see him. In this background, the police have tightened security at Chowmahalla Palace. Actions have been taken to avoid traffic problems. Mukarram Jah will be buried at Asaf Jahi’s family graves.
Mukaram Jah was born on October 6, 1933, to Azam Jah and Durre Shehwar, the grandson of the last Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Usman Ali Khan Bahadur, and the eldest son of the Nizam. Mukarram Jah was crowned as the eighth Nizam of Hyderabad on April 6, 1967, at Chowmahalla Palace as his successor, rather than the son of the seventh Nizam Mir Usman Ali Khan. After that Mukarram Jah went to Australia from India and spent some years there and then settled in Turkey. (maxim News)
