Serious Road Accident In Sanga Reddy: 22 People Injured

Sangareddy/Hyderabad, Dec 28 (Maxim News): A serious road accident occurred in Sangareddy district. An RTC bus hit a tipper parked on NH 65 at Kandi. 22 people were seriously injured when an RTC bus going from Medak to Patancheru hit a tipper.

It is reported that there were about 60 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident. The injured have been taken to the Sangareddy Government Hospital. However, there is no electricity in the hospital, which is causing difficulties in providing treatment to the injured. The passengers allege that the accident occurred due to the driver driving the bus negligently.

They say that an RTC bus hit a scooty before the accident. Passengers say that an RTC bus hit a scooty at Shivampet half an hour before the accident.

Meanwhile, the officials were relieved as the passengers escaped with minor injuries. The injured were rushed to the Sangareddy District Government Main Hospital. Due to lack of electricity in the hospital, the injured had to wait for more than half an hour for a CT scan. Meanwhile, the RTC bus driver who was responsible for the accident has been taken into custody by the police. (Maxim News)
