Shah Ali Banda Fire Accident: Shop Owner Dies

Hyderabad, Nov 26 (Maxim News): Shop owner Shivakumar Bansal died in the Gomati Electronics fire incident in Old City, Shah-ali-bandaShivakumar, who was undergoing treatment at DRDO Hospital with 80 percent burns in the incident, died after his condition deteriorated, doctors said.

Shiva kumar is survived by his wife and two sons. With the death of the shop owner, the death toll in the Gomati Electronics fire incident has reached two. Six other victims injured in the incident are also undergoing treatment at Osmania Hospital.

It may be recalled that a major fire broke out at Gomati Electronics at around 10.30 pm on Monday. The electronic items in the shop were gutted in the fire. However, initial claims were made that the accident occurred due to a speeding car hitting the shop.  The police detained the car driver and interrogated him, and the real facts came out.  Initially, the police confirmed that the fire had broken out at the Gomati Electronics shop itself. A huge explosion occurred in the refrigerators and AC compressors in the shop.  The explosions cause the car parked outside the shop to overturn. The car’s windows were shattered and the driver got out. After that, the fire spread and the entire car was reduced to ashes. One person lost his life during the incident. The shop owner died today. (Maxim News)
