Shaik Saleem Of Tolichowki Held Under PD Act

Hyderabad, June 14 (Maxim News): Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, issued P.D. orders against Shaik Saleem, a property offender of Golconda Police Station on June 3. In a pressnote here today, the CP said Shaik Saleem, 28, an Auto Driver, of Hakeempet, Tolichowki, committed theft of 12 auto rickshaws in an organized manner under Hyderabad and Cyberabad Police limits along with his associates to make easy money. The accused has been creating fear psychosis among the general public, thereby affecting the public order, apart from disturbing the peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.

The Golconda police arrested Shaik Saleem on January 18 under Sections 379 read with 34 and 411 IPC and 102 Cr.P.C. of Golconda PS, recovered the stolen vehicles and remanded him to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on June 7 and he was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (Maxim News)
