Shamirpet car fire | Hyderabad, Nov. 24 : A fast moving car caught fire on the Outer Ring Road near Shamirpet on Monday and the driver died inside the vehicle. The EcoSport car burned within minutes.

Driver failed to escape as the flames spread quickly. Motorists saw the fire and alerted police. The vehicle turned into ashes by the time help arrived. The incident triggered panic among commuters on the busy stretch.

Shamirpet police reached the spot soon after receiving alerts. They began a detailed probe. They examined the vehicle remains and collected evidence around the area.
