Assurance of Safety and Support
Jaishankar informed political party leaders in Parliament House that India has communicated with the Bangladesh Army Chief to ensure the safety of over 10,000 Indian students in Bangladesh.

In response to questions from various leaders, including Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Jaishankar did not rule out the possibility of foreign governments being involved in the unrest in Bangladesh.
