Shift The Headquarters Of Southern Command Center To Hyderabad: CM Revanth
Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed confidence that the issues between the Army and the Telangana government will be resolved through continuous discussions. He asked the Army high-ranking officials to appoint special personnel from your side to resolve these issues. a ‘Civil Military Liaison Conference’ was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the Command Control Center in Hyderabad recently.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Revanth Reddy made it clear to them that the Telangana government would be ready to cooperate in matters related to national security. As part of that, he reminded the Army high-ranking officials that his government has allocated 3,000 acres for the frequency Navy radar station in Vikarabad. He also asked them to consider the issue of shifting the headquarters of the Southern Command Center to Hyderabad.
CM Revanth appealed to them to set up a Sainik school in Telangana. Chief Minister Revanth explained to the Army high-ranking officials that two to four Sainik schools have been sanctioned in several states in the country. He said that not a single Sainik school has been sanctioned in Telangana in the last ten years.
The meeting discussed the speedy resolution of land issues and other administrative issues between the Indian Army and the Telangana government. The conference was attended by Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Major General Ajay Mishra (Telangana, Andhra Sub-Area General Officer Commanding), DGP Shivdhar Reddy, senior state government officials and army officials. In this meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy brought several appeals on behalf of the Telangana state to the attention of the army officials. (Maxim News)
