Shrivallabh Vyas died in Jaipur on Sunday. Vyas acted in famous films like Lagaan, Sarfarosh, Dil Bole Hadippa, Aan: Men At Work, in a career spanning almost 20 years.He was also part of notable regional films, television shows and plays, including Virasat (1985), which brought him fame.
The actor, born Vallabh Vyas, suffered a paralytic attack in 2008 while shooting for a Bhojpuri film in Gujarat. Due to financial crisis, Vyas’ family shifted from Jaisalmer to Jaipur for his treatment. Owing to the actor’s financial constraints, stars like Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Irrfan Khan, among others, were taking care of his medical expenses. The actor is survived by his wife Shobha Vyas and two daughters.
