Singareni CMD Transferred, N Balram Gets Full Additional Charge

Hyderabad, Jan 2 (Maxim News): Chief Secretary Santi Kumari has issued the orders giving Full Additional Charge of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) to the Director Finance N. Balram in place of Sridhar who has been asked to report to the Administration department. 

It may be recalled that Sridhar took charge as Singareni CMD from January 1, 2015.  In the history of Singareni, he has achieved the record of being the longest serving CMD for 9 years.  During Sridhar’s reign, Singareni achieved many successes and was embroiled in controversies. . 

Sridhar was retained by the BRS government despite the Centre’s objection.  From the beginning, the opposition and labor unions were angry about Sridhar’s behavior.  Sridhar was transferred after the Congress party came to power in the state.  Director Baram has been handed over as in-charge CMD.  (Maxim News)
