Hyderabad, May 14: SIR Phase 3 schedule announced for AP and Telangana as the Election Commission released timelines for voter list revision.
The Election Commission of India issued the notification detailing training, surveys, and publication of electoral rolls.
In Andhra Pradesh, staff training will be held from June 5 to 14. Door to door data collection will follow from June 15 to July 14.
The draft voter list in Andhra Pradesh will be published on July 21. Objections can be filed from July 21 to August 20. The final list will be released on September 22.
In Telangana, staff training is scheduled from June 15 to 24. The door to door survey will be conducted from June 25 to July 24.
The draft voter list will be published on July 31. Objections will be accepted from July 31 to September 28. The final voter list will be announced on October 1.
Officials said the exercise aims to ensure accuracy in electoral rolls. The process includes verification of voter details across both states.
