Sisodia’s Custody Extended For More Five Days In The Liquor Scam

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 17 (Maxim News):  The AAP leader and former Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia‘s custody has been extended by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court for another five days in the Delhi Liquor Scam case.  

Manish Sisodia was produced in the court by the ED officials as his custody will end today, the ED asked the court to extend Sisodia’s custody for another 7 days.  Sisodia told the court that the e-mail data and cell phone should be examined.  Sisodia’s Counsel opposed the ED’s plea for an extension of remand.  But after hearing the arguments of the two, the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court extended Sisodia’s custody for another 5 days. 

However, the Court has allowed Manish Sisodia’s request to sign the cheques for Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000 for family expenses and his wife’s medical expenses.  (Maxim News)
