Six Arrested In The Banjara Hills Momos Incident

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (Maxim News): The Banjara Hills police have arrested the accused in the recent death of a woman after eating momos in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills.

The police arrested six accused from Bihar who found that momos were made in Chintal Basti. The police found that momos were being made with unsanitary and substandard materials. Momos and mayonnaise samples were sent to the lab.

On October 27 in Nandinagar, Banjara Hills, a woman fell ill and died while undergoing treatment after eating momos at a weekly market. More than 20 people falling ill has caused a commotion in the locality. The deceased woman has been identified as Reshma, a 29-year-old woman from Singadikunta. She has three children. Reshma Begum’s family members complained that adulterated momos were the cause of her death. Food safety officers have already seized the Momos manufacturing facility. After registering a case and investigating, the police found that adulterated momos were being made in Chintal and arrested six people.
