Six Infants Infected At Mata Shishu Hospital, Jagtial

Jagityal/Hyderabad, Jan 11 (Maxim News): Six infants have been infected at the Mata Shishu Hospital of Jagtial district. The Additional Collector BS Latha visited and learned about the condition of the victims.

According to the relatives of the victims, six pregnant women got infected after the stitches given after delivery caused concern. They expressed anger that the cause of this infection was the doctor’s negligence. However, the family members of the victims alleged that after the delivery, after being discharged and going home, pus came from the stitches and she became seriously ill..

The family members of the victims complain that the doctors do not care if they come back to the hospital. Responding to this incident, the Additional Collector who reached the hospital inquired about the health condition of the victims. It has been suggested to the concerned doctors to give special treatment to babies who are in trouble. Patients undergoing cesarean section should take proper precautions to prevent infection. The doctors were instructed to inform the pregnant women about the appropriate precautions for delivery through the hospital staff. (Maxim News)
