Six People Injured As Lift Crashes In Old City 

Hyderabad, Nov 25 (Maxim News): Six people were reportedly injured when a lift crashed at an apartment building in Chandulal Baradari, Old City on Sunday evening.

The incident occurred when the lift suddenly malfunctioned and plummeted, trapping six occupants inside, according to local residents.

One person suffered a severe leg injury, while five others escaped with minor injuries.  The residents of the apartment who heard a huge sound rushed to the rescue of the victims.  They quickly called the ambulance and shifted them to the nearby hospital for treatment.

The local police reached the spot and took up an investigation into the cause of the crash and the circumstances surrounding the lift’s failure. 

Preliminary investigation has indicated that lack of maintenance and violations of safety protocols at the apartment building led to the incident. (Maxim News)
