Southwest Monsoon Winds Are Active Again

Hyderabad, June 10 (Maxim News): The southwest monsoon has become active again.  Along with this, heavy rains will occur due to the influence of low-pressure areas in the Bay of Bengal, said the Meteorological Department officials. The rains have already started in many areas and are expected to intensify further, the Meteorological Department has warned.

The Meteorological Department has said that a low-pressure area will form in the Bay of Bengal on June 11.  It has also been said that another low-pressure area is likely to form on June 14.  These will be accompanied by monsoon winds.  With this, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in AP.  The Meteorological Department has warned that people should be alert. The IMD has warned that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the southern states as the monsoon is moving actively.  It has been said that Karnataka will receive torrential rains from June 12 to 15. This will cause floods. The IMD said that there is a possibility of heavy rains in Rayalaseema between Tuesday and to 13th.  It has been said that heavy rains will occur in Telangana on June 12.  The IMD warned that heavy rains will occur in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as well as kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Goa. With this, a red alert has been issued for some areas in those states and an orange alert for some other areas.  (Maxim News)
