Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): State Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy today directed officials concerned to make elaborate arrangements for conduct of the budget session from February 22 to 25, in a peaceful manner. The house will go on for three days as February 24 is a Sunday.
The Speaker conducted a high level review meeting, which was attended by Council Chairman Swamy Goud, deputy chairman N Vidyasagar , Legislature Affairs Minister V Prashanth Reddy, Assembly Secretary Dr V Narasimha Charyulu, police and other officials on the budget session at his chambers in the Assembly. The Speaker and Council Chairman sought the cooperation of police and other officials to conduct the session in a peaceful manner. Minister Prashant Reddy assured all cooperation from the Government side for peaceful conduct of the session.
The session will begin on February 22 at 11.30 am and conclude on Feb 25. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who retains finance portfolio, is to present the vote on account budget in the Assembly on the first day. Home Minister Mahamood Ali is likely to present the budget in the Council on the same day. (Maxim News)
