Sri Rama Navami holiday: Banks, schools closed in Telugu states
Sri Rama Navami holiday | Hyderabad/Amaravati, March 26: The Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments have announced a public holiday on Friday on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami.
According to the official holiday calendar, all schools, colleges, government offices and banks will remain closed. As a result, normal services in these institutions will remain suspended for the day.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will attend the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam celebrations at Bhadrachalam temple.

Similarly, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Kalyanotsavam at Ontimitta.
In addition, banks will remain closed for three consecutive days. Sri Rama Navami falls on Friday (28th). After that, the fourth Saturday (29th) and Sunday (30th) are also holidays.
Therefore, banking services will not be available during this period.
Meanwhile, officials advised customers to complete important bank work in advance. Otherwise, they may face inconvenience due to the long holiday weekend.
Overall, authorities urged people to plan their financial transactions accordingly.
