Standing Committee Approves 9 Items And 2 Table Items

Hyderabad, May 01: The 2nd Standing Committee meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi at the Command Control Room of the GHMC headquarters. The committee approved the recommendation for the expansion of various roads in GHMC through the corporation. The Mayor said that the members approved 9 items and 2 table items in the committee meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said… The Standing Committee is a policy decision-making committee. GHMC should focus on increasing its revenue sources. Additional and Zonal Commissioners should take action only after the approval of the Standing Committee on all tenders and other decisions related to their respective departments. It was advised that no decisions should be taken without approval.

The members of the Standing Committee expressed their gratitude for the Revanth Reddy government providing more funds to Baldia than any other government had ever provided.

Items approved by the Standing Committee:

1. Krishna Drinking Water Supply Phase-2 Main Ring 1 Manufacturing Supply, Delivery Bandlaguda Cross Road for changing the pipeline from Nafees Garden Function Hall to Royal Steel Traders, construction of box drain from Bandlaguda Housing Colony to Erragunta, changing the utility. The committee approved the administrative sanction of Rs. 2.12 crore.

2. The Committee approved the lease of the 4,350 yards of land already allotted to Ranki Foundation in Gopanpally Village for the construction & maintenance of an animal shelter with all facilities under CSR to M/s, All for Animals Foundation with their funds for installation of necessary equipment and maintenance of medical facilities for a period of (25) years at a nominal fee.

3. The committee approved the recommendation to the Corporation for administrative sanction for the proposed 40 feet road widening and construction of CC road from Dabirpura Police Station to Nagabowli Junction at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.10 crore.

4. The committee approved the signing of an MOU with the Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner for a period of three years with Apollo Hospital Enterprises Limited for the development and management of Bamboo Park, covering an area of ​​approximately 4,000 square meters, at Road No. 36, and the development and management of Jubilee Hills Check Post Park, covering an area of ​​5,373 square meters, under CSR.

5. The committee approved the recommendation to the Corporation for the acquisition of 43 properties for the proposed 18-meter road width from Topu Khana Majeed to Usman Ganj under the Road Development Plan.

6. The committee approved the recommendation to the Corporation for the acquisition of 19 properties for the proposed road expansion from Goshamahal to Osmanganj as part of the Road Development Plan.

7. The committee approved the recommendation to the Corporation for the acquisition of 112 properties for the road expansion from the North West Corner of Police Land to Darusalam Road and from Malakunta Road to Old Topu Khana Road as part of the Road Development Plan.

8. The committee approved the proposal to the corporation for the acquisition of 95 properties, informing the government about the widening of the road from Bodeki Kabar to Begum Bazaar by 12 meters and 18 meters, and increasing the width of the road from 12 meters to 18 meters and the length by 200 meters.

9. Corporation approval to invite tenders under EPC for a project worth Rs. 749 crore for widening and development of 215 feet road from Khajaguda Junction, IIT Junction, Cyberabad CP Office to Gachibowli, construction of multilevel flyovers, grade separators at such junctions, development of 150-lane road from Anjaiah Nagar to Ranki Tower Road. Committee approval for approval.
