State Cabinet takes some key decisions
Hyderabad: On Sunday (August 1), a Telangana cabinet meeting was conducted at Pragati Bhavan under the supervision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Chief Minister has agreed to establish a cabinet sub-committee to develop a strategy to raise awareness about the suffering of orphans and old age homes in Telangana. The cabinet also reviewed the measures that would be necessary to begin building of seven newly sanctioned medical colleges next year.
A Cabinet sub-committee will be formed, chaired by Minister Satyavathi Rathod. The cabinet has directed that loans of up to Rs 50,000 be waived from August 15 until the end of the month. The cabinet has agreed to introduce EBC reservation in education and employment for earning less than Rs.8 lakh per year. The Cabinet ordered that comprehensive corona testing be carried out in all regions.
