Hyderabad, Mar 13 (Maxim News) : Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao reviewed LPG supply in Telangana. He held a meeting with oil marketing firms and Civil Supplies officials.
The review took place at the Secretariat. So officials assessed current stock and delivery systems.
Officials said the state has 1.29 crore domestic LPG connections. They confirmed that stocks are enough. Therefore, they said there is no supply concern now.
The Chief Secretary asked teams to ensure timely delivery. He also told them to prevent black marketing. Moreover, he asked them to improve checks at distributor points. So officials must track supply closely.
Officials said 810 LPG distributor centres operate in the state. These centres supply cylinders across districts. They ensure steady supply to homes. In addition, they also serve hospitals and government hostels.

The Chief Secretary stressed close monitoring. He asked officers to act on complaints fast.
He also said field teams must stay alert. Therefore, he called for better coordination.
Officials also reviewed storage capacity. They checked how stocks move from depots.
They also discussed delivery timelines. So the meeting covered the full supply chain.
The Chief Secretary asked Civil Supplies teams to stay ready. He said summer demand may rise.
So he asked them to plan ahead. He also said there should be no delays.
Officials also spoke about consumer awareness. They said people must report overpricing.
In addition, they asked users to book through official channels. Therefore, they stressed safe buying.
