Statehood fight shows new path to world: KCR says Dalit Bandhu will awake nation

Hyderabad, Oct.25 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today reiterated that Dalit Bandhu scheme in Telangana shows a new direction to entire nation. The Pink flag of the TRS was hoisted amid doubts, rumours and misinformation campaign, he said. Dalit Bandhu movement will push entire nation for such a program in future, he predicted. The scheme will address the social discrimination, financial laxity and opportunities, he hoped.

After getting elected as the TRS president unanimously at the plenary in Hitex to mark 20 years of the party, Supremo explained briefly about how the united AP leaders caused obstructions to statehood.

We started the statehood fight at Jala Drushyam of Konda Lakshman Bapujji on April 27 in 2001 he recalled. Despite the AP leaders creating hurdles against the statehood, spreading fear and doubts, the TRS continued its fight to achieve Telangana in a non violent mode, he claimed.

The State of Telangana was formed with continuous efforts and integrity and non-violence on the lines of freedom movement despite many hurdles, he said. From a situation of no confidence and confusion to a new high of welfare he said. Our government made efforts to create confidence with plans and schemes to ensure benefits reach them.

Despite hurdles by the TRS Government showed the new path and direction to the world about the movement for statehood and development through various programs, he claimed. The statehood fight and those participated in it will remain in the history with reputation and there is no doubt on this, he said. He said that Chief Ministers of other states area asking me as to how it is possible to start the Dalit Bandhu by spending huge funds.

We are ready to implement it with huge funds for their welfare, he said. The CM said that some Dalit people from AP are urging the TRS to start its party for that benefit. He also claimed that even people from Rayachur in Karnataka and Nanded Maharashtra are urging to merge them into the state of Telangana.

The Andhra rulers created panic of lapse in governance, poor power, and no development as there will be no investments and industrial development. Though the TRS Government surpassed all that hurdles to provide 24 hour power to farm sector he said. Now there is no power in AP as the state is in gloom, he remarked.

After Dalit Bandhu launch several states are trying to replicate it as the people are eager to get the benefits. Several people migrated from Mahabub Nagar to Dubai and elsewhere are returning for agriculture, business as development programs are reaching them with unique schemes. We are getting huge demand by people from AP and others states to implement our schemes for them, he said.

In 20 years of the party formation we proved our mettle and showed what we can do for the cause of the poor, farmers and people, he said. Though the united leaders of AP created panic and spread rumours against the statehood we won the battle, he said. When the bill of the statehood was getting passed in Rajya Sabha, Andhra rulers came in the way, he charged.

Despite hurdles and bad comments by the Andhra rulers we became number one in the country and produced more Paddy that FCI could not purchase, he said.

Dalit Bandhu in Telangana is ideal at national level as other states are eagerly watching how this miraculous scheme is getting implemented, KCR stated. The State government implements the best schemes for the people and their welfare and being followed by other states, KCR said. (Maxim News)
