Stressed Need To Achieve Self-Sufficiency In Cooking Oil Production: Ponnam Prabhakar

Hyderabad, July 10 (Maxim News): Minister Ponnam Prabhakar suggested that steps should be taken to achieve self-sufficiency in oil seed production and also suggested promoting oil seed production among the farmers.

Presenting the bouquet and congratulating Jangha Raghava Reddy who took charge as the Chairman of Telangana State Oil Seeds Corporation in Hyderabad Industry Bhavan, along with the minister Uttam Kumar ReddyPonnam Prabhakar asked to promote palm oil which would reduce the import of cooking oil. It is suggested to encourage the production of cooking oils here.  

Ponnam Prabhakar gave suggestions to Jangha Raghavareddy that oil seed corporations should work to achieve self-sufficiency in oil farm agriculture-related crops by coordinating them with the agriculture department. (Maxim News)
