Strict Action Against Illegal Dumping Of The Construction Waste: Commissioner

Hyderabad, September 14: Commissioner Ronald Rose has directed the officials to take strict action against those who are illegally transporting construction waste. On Thursday, the Commissioner inspected various development works being carried out in Kukat Palli Circle.

The commissioner inspected Jeedimetla Division Allam Pond, Fox Sagar Pond, C&D waste collection site at HMT Shahpur Nagar, IDPL Junction development works. In Jeedimetla Division, the development works of Allam Cheru near Dandamudi Enclave were inspected. The officials were ordered to remove some private boards on the embankment of the pond. The commissioner said that henceforth the waste should be taken by the C&D plant from the site where HMT Colony C&D waste is collected. Fox Sagar went to the pond area and examined it. They inquired about the reasons why the water in the pond was being sent to the lower area.

The zonal commissioner explained that if water is released from the pond during heavy rains, it would cause flooding in the low-lying colonies in the following areas to balance the water level in the pond.
