Strict Action Against Indigo: Union Minister Key Statement In Lok Sabha

Delhi/Hyderabad, Dec 9 (Maxim News): Union Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu made a key announcement in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday on the IndiGo crisis. He said that IndiGo’s operations are being stabilized rapidly. He said that safety is fully implemented. He made it clear that IndiGo airline is responsible for the crisis. He revealed that long-term measures have been taken to make India’s aviation sector passenger-centric. He also said that show cause notices have been issued to IndiGo. He said that the passengers have been facing so much trouble due to IndiGo’s planning failures and non-compliance with regulations.

He said that all other airlines across the country are running smoothly. He said that there are normal conditions at all airports and there are no congestion problems. He said that relief measures like refunds and delivery of baggage to passengers are being taken quickly. It was revealed that the DGCA has issued show-cause notices to IndiGo and has taken up an investigation. He said that strict action will be taken based on the report.

The IndiGo crisis continues. More than a hundred flights are being cancelled every day. The situation is the same today (Tuesday). So far, IndiGo has cancelled 92 flights. Services to major cities in the country like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Goa have been cancelled. Passengers are facing severe difficulties. (Maxim News)
