Strict Action Against People Involved In Food Adulteration: Health Minister

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (Maxim News): Keeping in view that the cases of food poisoning incidents have recently increased in the state capital HyderabadFood Adulteration incidents are coming to light somewhere in the city every day. It is known that recently a woman died after eating momos, Minister for Medical, Health and Family Welfare Damodar Raja Narasimha has focused on food safety in this order, and the Minister has directed the authorities to take strict action against those involved in food adulteration.

Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha held a review meeting on food safety on Friday (November 22), Commissioner RV Karnan explained to the minister through a PowerPoint presentation about the measures being taken on food safety across the state,  

On this occasion, Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha issued important instructions to the officials.  The task force was directed to conduct continuous inspections of food safety.

It is suggested that steps should be taken to ensure continuous monitoring of all government and private hostels.  The Minister directed the officials to take appropriate measures to strengthen the food safety labs.  Food safety officials have said that necessary awareness and training classes should be conducted for cooks and food launderers,  

The State Food Safety Department has been ordered to act as a role model for other states,  In this review, Dr. Christina Chongthu, Secretary to Medical Health Department, TSMSIDC MD Health, DME Dr. Vani, State Medical Council Commissioner Dr. Ajay, IPM Director Dr. Shivalila and others participated.  (Maxim News)
