Student Wearing Ayyappa Mala Not Allowed In Singareni High School

Mancherial/Hyderabad, Nov 23 (Maxim News): A student named Kalaveni Teja studying in class 10 at Singareni High School in Mandamarri of Mancherial district was not allowed into the classroom by the teachers as the student was wearing the Ayyappa mala.

The Head teacher of the school, Sundar Rao did not allow the student to enter the school because he was wearing the mala. The student father alleged that his son was not allowed in the school because he was wearing a mala, the parents brought this matter to the attention of the Ayyappa Temple Committee members and went to the school along with the local BJP leaders. When the head teacher was asked for details, he firmly said that those wearing malas would not be allowed in the class. This led to an argument between the school staff and the student’s parents.
