Sun Is Shining In February: Temperature Are Breaking Old Records
Hyderabad, Feb 17 (Maxim News): The sun is scorching in February itself. The Meteorological Department is predicting that this summer is set to break old records. Officials are saying that temperatures will increase significantly from March 15. Temperatures are already rising day by day in Telangana.
In the past week, temperatures in Mahabubnagar, Adilabad, Ramagundam, and Khammam districts have increased by 3 degrees above normal. If the sun is scorching in February itself, people are worried that the situation could be even worse by April and May.
On Sunday, daytime temperatures across the state were recorded between 35.7 and 37.7 degrees. The meteorological Department said that temperatures are likely to increase further in the next three days.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 37.7 degrees in Ravinutala in Khammam district, and the minimum temperature was recorded at 35.7 degrees in Jangaon. Similarly, Peddapalli recorded 37.6 degrees, and Bhadradri, Jagtial, Jogulamba Gadwal, and other districts recorded 37.5 degrees, the Meteorological Department explained. (Maxim News)
