Supply of Remdesivir And Oxygen Increased in Telangana

Hyderabad: The Central government increased the supply of Remdesivir injections and oxygen to Telangana to meet the increasing demand in the state. Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on Saturday telephoned Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and told that the Centre increased the oxygen and Remdesivir injections quota to the state.

He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed him to supply oxygen and Remdesivir to Telangana to curb the virus. The supply of Remdesivir injections will be increased from 5,500 to 10,500 from Monday onwards and will supply an additional 200 tonnes of oxygen to the state. Minister asked the CM KCR to give priority to those who are waiting for the second dose of the vaccine.
