Thrissur/Hyderabad, June 4 (Maxim News): For the first time in Kerala, BJP won a Lok Sabha seat. The Malayalam actor, who entered the fray as a BJP candidate from the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat, continues to have a huge lead.

His victory was almost assured. Currently Suresh Gopi is leading with 4,09,239 votes followed by CPI candidate Sunil Kumar in the second position with 3,34,160 votes and Congress party candidate Muralidharan is in the third position with a majority of 3,24,431 votes.
Suresh Gopi is leading by 75,079 votes over Sunil Kumar, As the counting nears its end, victory is assured. (Maxim News)
