He said that the incident happened because of the Chief Minister’s mistake and the farmers were arrested when they went to meet the Chief Minister not to set up a pharma company. The former MLA of Kodangal alleged that the poor farmers are being told to give their lands even if their lives are lost and the Chief Minister is being stubborn and trying to grab lands from innocent farmers for the sake of his brothers, for his own family and real estate business.

He asked to stop land acquisition and not to arrest innocent farmers. He said that now there are no elections to do politics, there are lands for farmers of all political parties. Patnam Narender Reddy also responded to the allegations that his follower Suresh was involved in the attack on the collector. He said that Suresh spoke because he is their worker, he has land there, and that’s why he also questioned him. Patnam Narender Reddy made it clear that companies other than pharma companies would be welcome and would fight on behalf of the poor farmers.  (Maxim News)
