The Surya Tilak ceremony used modern technology. Scientists from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee designed an opto mechanical system to direct sunlight precisely onto the idol. Therefore, the system ensured that the sun’s rays aligned perfectly with Ram Lalla’s forehead at the exact time.
