T Harish Rao Reviews On Corona Situation in State
Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today said that the corona cases are declining in Telangana with government measures. The finance minister instructed the officials concerned to see that the people follow corona protocols during the lockdown and ensure strict norms. Give second dose to people on getting more vaccines and medical oxygen and medicines from the centre he said.
He held a review meeting at BRKR Bhavan with chief secretary Somesh Kumar and officials and reviewed on corona situation.
Earlier he visited Koti ENT hospital which is nodal center for black fungus treatment in the state. There is no need of black fungus he said and directed officials to create awareness among people.
The government is ready to get more oxygen, injections, and medicines in the hospitals he said. Harish Rao said that the people should not get panicked for corona treatment. He expressed content that the cases and deaths or infections came down in the state. With more measures and vaccination drives we could check the virus and will come down if continued to follow protocols he hoped. The officials were asked to get more vials of injections, oxygen stocks and concentrators and medicines besides Remdesivir stocks from the centre he said.
The people should get to government hospitals to get free treatment and services. Avoid losing money by visiting the private hospitals and complaint to the government he suggested. He asked about second dose of vaccination and suggested for continuous efforts with the Centre. House to house survey is getting positive results of better recovery and less number of cases and deaths, he said.
We have adequate beds, injections and providing treatment he said. He directed that more facilities and health infrastructure are to be in place. The finance minister’s meeting with the chief secretary gets importance after a review by the chief minister on the same yesterday.
Taking cue from the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who allotted several medical colleges and nursing colleges Harish Rao said that officials take immediate measures to start them. (Maxim News)
