Hyderabad, Feb. 8: India secured a strong win in the first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against USA at Nassau International Cricket Stadium in New York. The team won by 29 runs.
Even though India’s star batsmen struggled, captain Suryakumar Yadav stayed calm and led the side to victory. He fought till the end and guided the team to the win.

He did not give up even when he was left alone at some stages. It is special that 37 percent of Suryakumar’s runs came from behind the score wickets. This is true 360 degree master class batting. In the past, some teams had contained Suryakumar in that area. But, in this match, he took time.. came into top form. He played outstanding innings as captain.’
