The Andhra Pradesh government has made a key decision regarding Sankranti holidays for public sector bank employees. An additional day of leave has been granted, with orders issued by AP Chief Secretary K.S. Vijay Anand on Monday.
All the banks will remain closed for eight days in May 2022, i.e. the holiday list includes five Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays and Eid ul Fitr.
In November 2021, all the banks will remain closed for nine days, i.e. the holiday list includes Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Guru Nanak Jayanti four Sundays, the second and fourth Saturdays.
