Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari on Monday directed the officials to enforce the model code of conduct (MCC) strictly to ensure free, fair, and peaceful conduct of the Lok Sabha elections in the State.

Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao directed Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to initiate measures for assessing the damage caused by unseasonal rains at many places, especially Choppadandi and Karimnagar rural mandals.
