Telangana Government gave its nod reportedly for reopening of the Cinema Theatres across the state from July 23. A key decision in this regard was taken by Telangana Film Chamber which met here.
In the wake of new restrictions imposed by the Telangana government to stop second wave of the coronavirus, the Telangana Theatre Owners Association have decided not to screen movies in theatres till month end.
The Telangana government has not taken any decision on the closure of cinema theatres in the state, as COVID-19 cases are on the rise, rumours were on rife on the closure of cinema theatres in the state.
Telangana government on Friday issued orders allowing the cinema theatre owners to screen movies with 100 per cent occupancy. The theatre owners expressed happiness with the government's decision.
